Stereoscopy is a technique for creating three-dimensional images, adding depth to a flat image. It's work with slightly two different angles of the same object or scene. It is also known as 3D- Photography. This unique concept is used in so many fields, like: space exploration, VR games, movies, entertainment, medical uses, and so on. It is invented by Sir Charles Wheatstone in 1838.

Stereoscope is a device for viewing and enjoying Stereograms/3D-Photos. It has vintage heavy versions and modern lite versions like Fennec Stereoscope.

S T E R E O P S I S

Stereopsis is the ability to see the world in three dimensions (length, width, and depth) through Binocular vision. It is a key component of depth perception, which is the ability to determine the relative positions of objects in space. which then allows a person to judge where an object is relative to him or her. This stereopsis effect is essential for many everyday actions, including driving, threading a needle, descending stairs, and so on. The brain estimates the depth of things based on tiny variations between pictures. and this brain effect is called Stereopsis

Depthmap conversion is a technique of creating stereo photo by using depth map extracted from flat image
